Our school is a voluntary controlled primary school with a joint Church of England and Methodist Foundation, enjoying links with our founder churches, St. John the Baptist Hey and Zion Methodist Church.

As a school, we are proud of our high academic standards, but we also understand well that there is so much more to a child’s education – the development of their personality and character, learning to respect others and themselves and expecting the best of themselves and of each other.
