Overview
Job Title: L2 SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-time 18.25 hours per week)
Salary Grade: Grade 6 – SCP 6, £25,183 FTE (Pro rata £10386)
Working Pattern: Term time only
Working Hours: 3 hours, 45 mins per day 8:45am – 12:30pm (18.25 hours per week)
Required From: September 2025

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed L2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our school resource provision who:
• Has a recognised L2 qualification
• Has knowledge and understanding of working with children with SEND
• Will have exceptionally high standards of teaching and learning and high aspirations for all our children
• Will support the children across school to reach their potential through providing a safe, nurturing environment
• Be calm, nurturing and follow restorative approaches
• Will work effectively as part of our school team
• Will demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Will be an active member of our school team and contribute to the school’s Christian and nurturing ethos
